Gallardo LP E-Gear & Audi R8 R tronic Shift Actuator Rebuild

GTE Engineering rebuilds the hydraulic gear-selection actuator used in applicable Lamborghini Gallardo LP E-Gear and Audi R8 R tronic automated-manual systems. This is an actuator service, separate from clutch rebuilding or a complete mechanical transmission rebuild.

Part-number references: 086398163B, 086398163A, 086398163. Have your dealer or qualified installer verify the VIN and the identification on your actuator before ordering.

Rebuild scope and additional parts

• Disassembly, cleaning, inspection and measurement of the supplied actuator.
• Rebuilding, reassembly and functional testing.
• Sensor testing; replacement sensors are not included.
• Electrovalve testing and calibration. If a sensor or electrovalve is damaged, GTE will advise the additional parts cost before replacement.

Customer's rebuildable core required. Arrange the service and confirm what to send before shipping. Additional damage and repairs outside the agreed scope must be addressed in the estimate.

Application checks

Catalog applications include Audi R8 4.2 R tronic (2008–2012) and 5.2 R tronic (2009–2012), and applicable Gallardo LP550, LP560 and LP570 E-Gear variants, including relevant Superleggera, Performante, Squadra Corse and Super Trofeo Stradale configurations. Verify the actual assembly; a model badge alone does not confirm fitment. This is not an Audi S tronic dual-clutch actuator listing.

Shifting faults and vehicle setup

Leaks, internal wear, contamination, valve faults and sensor problems can contribute to gear-selection or engagement concerns. Vehicle diagnosis must also assess the hydraulic supply, clutch and electrical systems. Send the symptoms, fault codes and previous repair history with your request.

Removal, installation, bleeding and applicable learning or calibration procedures must be coordinated with the installing workshop and the approved service scope.
