McLaren Graziano 7-Speed DCT Transmission Rebuild

GTE Engineering provides inspection and rebuilding for applicable McLaren Graziano seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions. This listing is a service for the customer's transmission. Have your dealer or qualified installer verify the VIN, gearbox identification, received condition and required work before ordering.

Assembly Identification

These identify different gearbox applications, not interchangeable assemblies. The customer or installer must identify the installed transmission and required work. Other legacy references require separate verification before parts are ordered.

Available service stages

• Stage 1 — disassembly and inspection: complete disassembly followed by thorough inspection. This is not a completed rebuild and does not include replacement parts simply because they are found to be worn.
• Stage 3 — A-Service: complete disassembly, replacement and installation of the A-Service kit, plus mechatronic cleaning and testing. Confirm the kit contents and any additional repairs in the estimate.
• Stage 4 — synchronizer work: includes the work in Stage 3 plus gear synchronizer changes.

The selected stage and approved estimate define what is included. Clutch packs, gears, shafts, sensors, electronics and other damage-related repairs must be specified; they are not automatically included in every stage.

Application and transmission identification

Requests may concern vehicles such as the MP4-12C, 650S, 570S or 720S, but model names alone do not establish gearbox compatibility. Have your dealer or qualified installer verify the correct assembly and parts. Supply the transmission label when requesting a service quote from GTE.

Diagnosis and installation

Report shifting faults, leaks, noise, slipping, fault codes, previous repairs and modifications. Inspection determines the work required; a symptom alone does not prove that the entire transmission or clutch needs replacing.

Vehicle removal and installation labor are not included. The installing workshop must follow the applicable fluid, setup and commissioning requirements and verify operation on the car. Confirm fluid supply, shipping arrangements, price and turnaround with GTE for the approved scope.
